Music director turned actor GV Prakash and Dhanush are one of the most popular pairs in Indian cinema. The duo has worked together in several films like Aadukalam and Mayakkam Enna. Recently, GV Prakash himself shared about his camaraderie with Asuran actor Dhanush. He shared how they were not on talking terms for 6 years.
In a recent video shared by VJ Siddhu vlogs, GV Prakash Kumar was seen busy promoting his recently released film Kalvan. When he was asked about his relationship and friendship with Dhanush, he said, “A friend is someone who stands with you like a pillar, whenever you face problems. And we all have pillars like that who say When we need each other we’ll be there for each other.”
When he was asked about his fight with Dhanush, music composer GV Prakash Kumar shared, “If you’re friends, how would you behave with each other? If you are friends, it is normal to have fights and disagreements but at the same time, you both will also understand each other when required. So, yes we were not speaking for like six years but after that, everything came back to normal and we even grew closer.”
The music composer also shared his love of playing cricket with the actor. He shared how Dhanush goes to any extent to help people he loves, saying that there is no one like him.
The duo marked their first collaboration in 2007 with Vetrimaaran debut film, Polladhavan. Dhanush and GV Prakash then collaborated in films such as Aadukalam and Asuran to the very recent Captain Miller.
GV Prakash is best known for films including Soorarai Pottru, Thalaivi, Asuran and Aadukalam. His last work was in the film Kalvan. He has a few projects in the pipeline including DeAr, Emergency, Amaran, Sarfira, Duet, Adangathey, Chiyaan 62, Kingston, Sardar 2, and Lucky Baskhar to name a few.
Meanwhile, Dhanush rose to fame with movies such as Raanjhanaa, Asuran, Vada Chennai, and Atrangi Re. Now, he is all geared up for his upcoming releases like Raayan and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam.
