Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil
Prithviraj Sukumaran stars as Anand in the Malayalam movie Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, directed by Vipin Das and penned by Deepu Pradeep, featuring Vinu as Basil Joseph. The film is produced by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta, and CV Kumar under Chariot Construction. It tells the story of a man on the verge of marriage who ends up marrying a woman who despises him, ultimately falling victim to her wrath. Released theatrically on May 16, it is available on Disney+ Hotstar in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada since June 27.
Sharmaji Ki Beti
Tahira Kashyap Khurrana makes her directorial debut with Sharmaji Ki Beti, a narrative about three women, played by Sakshi Tanwar, Divya Dutta and Saiyami Kher, exploring their life’s purpose. The film features Vamshika Taparia, Arista Mehta, Shareeb Hashmi, and Parveen Dabas, and is set to stream on Amazon Prime on June 28.
Rautu Ka Raaz
In Rautu Ka Raaz, Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays Deepak Negi, an investigating officer delving into a mysterious death at a blind school in Ravuthu village. The film, also starring Naresh Dimri, Atul Tiwari, and Narayani Shastri, is directed by Anand Surpur and will premiere on ZEE5 on June 28.
The Family Star
Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur feature in The Family Star, directed by Parashuram and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish. The story follows Govardhan (Vijay), a man who prioritises his family’s happiness, whose life takes a turn with the arrival of Mrunal Thakur’s character. The film, which hit theatres on April 5, will be available on JioCinema from June 28.
A Family Affair
A Family Affair, an American romantic comedy directed by Richard LaGravenese and written by Cary Solomon, stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King, Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates. The plot centres on Zara, a personal assistant who discovers her employer’s daughter’s father, Chris Cole, is having an affair with her mother. This film will start streaming on Netflix from June 28.
