Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s Bad Newz marked the onset of Renee Sen’s career in the entertainment industry. Renee, the daughter of Sushmita Sen, worked as an intern AD for the comedy entertainer. Now that the film has reached theatres, receiving a warm response from the audience and critics, Renee shared a post on Instagram. The post includes some candid pictures of Sushmita Sen’s daughter with her team, along with an elaborate note summarising her experience.
The first picture of the post captured Renee Sen posing with the director of Bad Newz, Anand Tiwari. Next, we see a picture of the end credits with Renee’s name in the list of Intern AD, under the direction team. Additionally, the star kid attached some stills from behind the shoot. The pictures depicted Renee as she learned the skills of an assistant director during the filming.
Renee Sen, in her gratitude note for the Bad Newz team, wrote, “Working on BAD NEWZ has been nothing short of gratifying… it was as good as going to film school… or maybe better… our wonderful crew has taught me so much and I’ve made friends for life. I’m so grateful to our director Anand Tiwari! Thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to you directing me someday.”

Further thanking the team, Renee Sen added, “Dimple Mathias, Bindra amritpal thank you for giving me such a great start. Our direction team… thank you so so much for teaching me and for all the memories… you’re an important part of my journey. Special mention to Reshma Shetty Ma’am for making this happen. We did it team!!! Cheers to the best BAD NEWZ.”
Bad Newz also stars Neha Dhupia and Ammy Virk apart from Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. The Anand Tiwari directorial, released on July 19, has been penned by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. Besides the talented star cast, what adds to the film’s anticipation is its offbeat storyline. The film’s plot explores the rare case of heteropaternal superfecundation as Triptii’s character Saloni Bagga gets pregnant with two different fathers, portrayed by Vicky and Ammy. Bad Newz is backed by producers Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari.
