Get ready to grab your popcorn and gather your family and friends because everyone’s favourite lazy cat, Garfield, is back, and this time, he’s trading his comfy indoor life for an outdoor adventure! In the upcoming movie, Garfield finds himself reunited with his long-lost father, Vic, a street-smart feline, and together with his trusty sidekick Odie, they’re about to go on a wild and hilarious heist that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A new trailer for The Garfield movie has just been released, giving us a sneak peek into the antics and escapades that await.
Scheduled to hit theaters in India on May 24, the film will be available in both English and Hindi, ensuring that fans of all ages can enjoy Garfield’s latest escapade.
The newly released trailer begins with the adorable, foodie cat seated comfortably on a dining table where he is being served by his master Jon Arbuckle. Jon asks him to make him stop when he has enough cheese in his lasagna, to which Garfield replies, “Never Jon, bury me in cheese."
The trailer then goes on to show Garfield’s life at Jon’s home. He is seen playing and having fun with his fellow feline, Odie as well as Jon. He describes his life as “pretty and perfect." “Me, Jon and my unpaid intern Odie were living the dream," he describes.
He also sarcastically asks if the nurse needs to announce the need for a new weighing scale to the whole office after he breaks the one at the clinic. He then goes on to hog on more pizza as he describes his “perfect" life.
However, little did he know that it was all about to collapse pretty soon. He has an encounter with Vic, his father and then the trio is pulled into the world of crime, as Garfield describes in the trailer. He then goes on one adventure after another, in order to save his father, along with his master and sidekick Odie.

This new installment in the Garfield franchise promises to be a laugh riot, with Garfield’s signature humor and love for lasagna. Voiced by the talented Chris Pratt, Garfield is as charming and lovable as ever, while Samuel L. Jackson brings his trademark wit and charm to the role of Vic.
