Censor Board Praises Actress Ranjani Raghavan-starrer Kannada Film Sathyam
Sathyam stars an ensemble cast of actors Santhosh Balaraj, Suman, Avinash, Sayaji Shinde and others.

Kannada actress Ranjani Raghavan has proved her acting skills in both television and film. She started her career in show business with the film Rajahamsa and has amassed a massive follower base since then. She is now eagerly anticipating the release of her upcoming film Sathyam, directed by Ashok Kadaba.

In a huge accomplishment for her, the censor board has lauded the final cut of the movie. Sathyam’s makers talked about this to the media and also claimed that the board members loved the premise of their film. As per the makers, they have also received the U/A (unrestricted but with parental discretion) certificate for Sathyam.

Some of the social media users are claiming that Sathyam’s storyline has resemblances to the plot of the film Kantara as well. However, the director Ashok has refuted these claims and said that they (he and KV Raju) had come up with Sathyam’s plot much before Kantara’s storyline.

Sathyam stars an ensemble cast of actors Santhosh Balaraj, Suman, Avinash, Sayaji Shinde and others. Shree Matha Creations has backed this movie. On the technical front, Ravi Basrur has composed the music while Cinetek Suri has handled the cinematography.

Apart from Sathyam, Ranjani has also stirred the headlines with her acting in the Kannada film Kangaroo. Directed by Kishore Megalamane, this film has opened up to positive reviews from critics and audiences. Critics appreciated Ranjani’s performance, writing that she delivered an impactful performance on the screen, especially the climax.

Despite Ranjani’s profound passion for television and film projects, there’s much more to her multi-faceted persona. She loves authoring short stories in Kannada, with more than 15 of them published too. In an interview with The Balcony Stories, she said, “I have had the habit of writing travel diaries, memoirs, and penning small stories, but for the first time, my short stories are being published in the digital magazine Avadhi, and the whole experience has been incredible. So I request people to read and share their opinion.”

Amongst the serials, Ranjani is known for her acting chops in the daily soap Kannadathi which ended on February 6.
