There were many ups and downs in Kannada actor Dhananjaya’s career. He made his debut with the movie Director’s Special in the year 2013 by Guruprasad. His major breakthrough work was Tagaru, where he was the main antagonist named Daali. From then onwards, he was known as Daali Dhananjaya. Kalenahalli Adaviswamy Dhananjaya, fondly known as Daali Dhananjaya was born on August 23, 1985 in Kalenahalli, Arasikere, Karnataka. He turned 38 today. On his special day, let us take a look at some lesser known facts about him. He is not only a good actor, but was also a good student back in the days. He scored more than 90 percent in his SSLC examination. He was the first to come in the district. The actor was also interested in drama during his school days and also acted in plays. He completed his PUC in Marimallappa College and even got an engineering degree from one of the reputed colleges in Mysore, SJCE. Daali Dhananjaya worked in Infosys as well, but left the job for his interest in cinema.

People might think that Dhananjaya’s debut movie is Director’s Special but his true fans know that his first movie was a short film on YouTube called Jayanagar 4TH Block. It was directed by D Satya Prakash. The movie has over 3 million views and is still available on YouTube.

Dhananjaya has a lot of artistic talents apart from acting. He has recently turned into a producer and has named his production house as Daali Production. He produced films like Badava Rascal, Head Bush and Tagaru Palya. Apart from being a producer, he also penned a few songs for his produced movies. His debut as a lyricist in the Kannada film industry was for the film Orchestra Mysuru. He later on also wrote lyrics for the movie Abbabba.

He is too busy at present with his films like Pushpa 2, Uttarakaanda, Anna From Mexico and Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. He took to Instagram and shared with his fans that he won’t be able to celebrate his birthday this year. He said, “I am eager to celebrate my birthday with you all like every year. However, this time it is not possible due to some reasons. Kindly forgive me for that. Please do wish me from wherever you are. Let us all soon meet with some exciting news.”
