Biju Menon, Dhyan Sreenivasan And Suraj Venjaramoodu To Feature In This Malayalam Multistarrer

Director Nisam Basheer, who has delivered successful films like Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha (2019) and Rorschach (2022), announced his new Malayalam film starring Biju Menon, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Suraj Venjaramoodu.

The three actors will play the lead roles in this yet-to-be-titled film. The film is said to be in a different genre- a sarcastic comedy. The screenplay will be written by Sameer Abdul. Further details about the cast and crew are not yet known.

Nisam Basheer’s previous film Rorschach, starring superstar Mammootty in the lead role, was a psychological thriller and a super hit at the box office.

His film Kettiyolaanu Ente Maalakha, which starred Asif Ali in the lead role, dealt with the issue of marital rape. Meanwhile, Biju Menon has proved himself to be a versatile actor with his performances as a villain and protagonist. He plays a crucial role in SK23, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Sivakarthikeyan.

The film marks the return of Biju Menon to the Tamil film industry after 14 long years. Porkkalam (2010) was his last Tamil film.

Suraj Venjaramoodu is currently busy with the yet-untitled Vikram film directed by SU Arun Kumar. Dhyan Sreenivasan is currently basking in the success of Varshangalkku Shesham and Malayalee From India. The actor played prominent roles in both films and is being praised for his impressive performances.

The film Nadanna Sambavam, starring Biju Menon and Suraj Venjaramoodu, is making waves with a newly released promo song. The song cleverly pokes fun at the world of online tabloid journalism. The comedy-drama, directed by Vishnu Narayanan, uses the song as a creative critique of the sensationalist practices often seen in modern digital news reporting. In the promo song, we see Sudhi Koppa playing a journalist, hilariously nicknamed Linkan. He is obsessed with generating news out of every scenario he comes across. Accompanied by a character disguised as a security camera, Linkan shows his penchant for meddling in the lives of others and turning trivial events into headline-grabbing stories.
