Premalu, which has been garnering significant popular support, will expand its screenings to more theatres starting tomorrow. Featuring Naslen and Mamita in the lead roles, the film is hailed as a full-fledged romantic comedy entertainer, with both audience feedback and reviews echoing this sentiment. Produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Shyam Pushkaran, Premalu is set against the backdrop of Hyderabad.

The teenage romantic comedy had a promising start, receiving positive reviews. Despite not relying on star power, Premalu has amassed nearly Rs 90 lakhs in India. According to Sacnilk, the film’s opening day gross collection in India stands at Rs 1.05 crore. Additionally, it has garnered Rs 30 lakh from overseas markets.

On its release day, Premalu achieved an overall occupancy rate of 36.60%. The morning shows recorded a 28.15% occupancy, followed by 23.73%, 32.54%, and 61.99% for the afternoon, evening, and night shows, respectively.

The film’s positive reception and favourable word-of-mouth have contributed to its success. In response to the growing demand, the filmmakers have expanded the film’s screening to an additional 41 screens on the second day.
