Salman Khan's films mostly work due to star power and the superstar's ability to make the most inane story entertaining. Most films are remakes of southern blockbusters and may or may not have a solid script.
But that's not case for filmmaker Kabir Khan's films. Kabir Khan made an impressive debut with 'Kabul Express' and then followed it up with 'New York'. Both talking India-Pakistan relation and terrorism. Khan's third outing was with Salman Khan in 'Ek Tha Tiger' which had Indo-Pak relations as the backdrop. The film broke all records and grossed more than Rs 200 crore at the Box Office.
The actor and director pair up once again for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' - a story of a lost Pakistani girl and how an Indian takes her back home. Touted as one of the biggest releases this year, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has all the ingredients of a blockbuster. The canvas is huge, it has foot tapping numbers, and of course Salman Khan. The film also features Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.
While expectations from the film are high, it would be intresting to see whether Salman's film also has a solid story line. Shomini Sen of IBNLive.com was inside the theater to live tweet the film.
