Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are gearing up for the release of their upcoming action thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The cast is leaving no stone unturned in promoting their upcoming film. Akshay and Tiger, who are currently in the UAE, shared a video on Instagram to wish their fans ahead of Eid.
In the short clip, they also explained the reason behind the one-day delay. Originally slated for release on April 10, the film’s release has been postponed by a day. Reason? Eid is falling on April 11 in India. The decision came just 2 days before its originally scheduled date. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars South actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Manushi Chillar, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha and Ronit Roy will also be seen in key roles.
“Good evening everyone, main aur Tiger is waqt Abu Dhabi mein hai aur hum log yahan apni film ki promotion karne aaye hue hain…to yahan hume Sheikh Nahyan ke yahan se invitation aaya tha Iftar ke liye..to hum unse milne bhi gye the…bohot maza aaya bohot achaa bhi laga…aur wahan hi hume pata chala ki jo Eid hai…wo UAE ne declare kar diya hai ki wo 10 April ko hai…matlab Hindustan mein 11 April ko. (Tiger and I are currently in Abu Dhabi and we have come here to promote our film. Here we also got invitation from Sheikh Nahyan for Iftar. So we went there to meet him, it was a lot of fun. There we got to know that UAE has declared that Eid is on April 10 which means in India it is on April 11.),” said Akshay Kumar.
Tiger joined saying, “Aur humne hamesha se kaha hai ki Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Eid par hi aegi..aur apna promise barkaraar rakhte hue hum aap sab se apke nazdeeki cinema hall mein 11 April ko hi milenge. (And we’ve always said that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will arrive on Eid only..and keeping our promise we will meet you all on April 11 at your nearest Cinema Halls.)”
Akshay concluded the video by stating, “Bade Miyan aur Chote Miyan ki taraf se aap sabhi ko advance mein hi Eid Mubarak.” (Eid Mubarak to all of you in advance from Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.)”
