The multi-starrer film Ajayante Randam Moshanam aka ARM, starring Tovino Thomas, is releasing in theatres today, September 12, 2024 (Thursday). The periodic action film is released worldwide in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages. The night before the film’s release, the makers of ARM officially announced the voices behind the cosmic creator in each of the ARM versions. Star actor Mohanlal aka Lalettan has voiced the cosmic creator of Ajayante Randam Moshanam in the original Malayalam versions. Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram has lent his voice in ARM Tamil, while Shivarajkumar has voiced the cosmic creator character in the ARM Kannada version. ARM 3D is scripted by Sujith Nambiar and the additional screenplay is by Deepu Pradeep. Directed by Jithin Laal, music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematography by Jomon T John and editing by Shameer Muhammed, the film is a joint production of UGM Productions and Magic Frames.
Actress Krithi Shetty makes her Malayalam debut with Ajayante Randam Moshanam, which also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Rohini, Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Harish Uthaman and others. ARM is U/A censored and has a runtime of 2 hours and 25 minutes.
Set in three different time periods – the 1900s, 1950s and 1990s – the story follows three generations of heroes, Maniyan, Kunjikelu and Ajayan, all played by Tovino Thomas. Each character belongs to the same gender and is committed to protecting their country’s most precious treasure. The narrative weaves these timelines into an epic saga of adventure and heritage in northern Kerala.
Several key talents were involved in the production of the film. Deepu Pradeep contributed additional script work while Thomas P Sebastian and Akhil Latha Anil edited the trailers. Production design was helmed by Gokuldas, Praveen Varma handled costume design and Ronex Xavier handled makeup and hair. Stunt coordination was in the hands of Vikram Mor and Phoenix Prabhu, while choreography was helmed by Lalitha Shobi. The creative direction of the film was in the hands of Dipil Dev while Sreelaal and Anish Ravindran served as associate principal directors and associate principal cinematographers respectively.
