In a recent development, A.R Rahman and Prabhu Deva have announced a collaboration for a new film. Earlier, the Oscar-winning singer shared the news about the collaboration on his X handle. The film was then temporarily named ARRPD6. Now, the makers of the film have announced that the film will be named Moonwalk. Prabhu Deva shared the picture of the poster on his X handle (formerly Twitter). The picture created a massive buzz among the fans.

According to reports, the duo is collaborating after 25 years. The film is produced by Behindwoods and directed by the founder and CEO of Behindwoods, Manoj NS. The editing of the film is done by Raymond Derrick Crasta and the cinematography by Anoop VS. The songs of the film are composed by A.R Rahman, which will surely be a treat for all music lovers.
Speaking on the famous collaboration of the two popular celebrities the makers of the film said, “As A.R Rahman and Prabhu Deva are all set to team up after 25 years, expectations are high among the fans. The film is titled Moon Walk as a token of tribute to both the great artists who have given so much to the Indian film and entertainment industry.” The makers further mentioned that this film is set to be a family entertainer suitable for all ages. Alongside Prabhu Deva, the film is also set to feature popular actors like Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satz, Nishma and Sushmita, among others.
As per reports, the team is presently busy with the second phase of the shooting. Several sources claimed that the shooting is currently being held in Chennai. The story of the film is perfectly laced with humorous scenes to captivate the audience. According to reports, the film is set to hit theatres across the country in 2025.
The duo has earlier worked on various films and songs that have attracted huge buzz from the audience. Some of their notable musical collaborations are Chiku Buku Raile from Gentleman, Romeo Aatam from Mr Romeo and Petta Rap from Kadhalan.
