Ameesha Patel Gives Shoutout To Singham Again, Says 'Five Tara Singhs, 2000 Crores Guaranteed'
Gadar 2 star Ameesha Patel gave a shoutout to Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone starrer Singham Again, praising the trailer and predicting massive success.

The highly anticipated Singham Again trailer has finally been unveiled, and it looks like Rohit Shetty is gearing up to ignite the box office this Diwali. As the third installment in the popular Singham franchise, the film brings back Ajay Devgn in his iconic role as Bajirao Singham, while Deepika Padukone takes on the role of Lady Singham. Fans are also thrilled to see the return of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, with Arjun Kapoor introduced as the main antagonist. Among the many reactions, Gadar 2 star Ameesha Patel gave a special shoutout to the film, expressing her excitement.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, Ameesha wrote, “Saw the trailer of Singham Again. Fire . When Tara went to bring back his Sakina in Gadar, it set the box office on fire. Now Bajirao will go get his Sita, and the box office will explode again. Gadar had one Tara and one Sakina, and it crossed 500 crores in the Hindi belt alone. Singham Again has five Tara Singhs, so 2000 crores is guaranteed!”

The trailer showcases plenty of high-octane moments, with Rohit Shetty’s signature action sequences, including his iconic car stunts, making a comeback. The plot hints at an epic showdown as all forces unite to battle a formidable villain.

The Singham Again trailer was launched in grand style at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), with media and a sea of fans in attendance. Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Tiger Shroff were present at the event. However, Deepika Padukone had to skip the launch due to her maternity leave, having recently welcomed a daughter with Ranveer Singh.

Rohit Shetty’s Singham series has become known for its intense action sequences and strong anti-corruption themes. The original Singham (2011) followed Bajirao Singham as he took on corrupt politician Jaikant Shikre, played by Prakash Raj, earning widespread acclaim for its powerful dialogues and action.

Singham Returns (2014) saw Singham return as a DCP in Mumbai, taking on a political conspiracy involving corrupt officials, raising the stakes with even more action and a broader social-political theme.

Singham Again is slated for release this Diwali, where it will face off against Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Despite rumors that Kartik reached out to Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty to request a delay in their release, the film is set to hit theaters as scheduled.
