Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trailer has finally been released and has received an overwhelming response from the audience. Well, amid this speculations were going around that Akshay Kumar would be seen in a cameo role in horror comedy. Akshay Kumar has finally addressed his cameo rumours news. The actor called it “fake news.” Akshay Kumar was in the first part of the horror comedy.
The superstar has confirmed he won’t be appearing in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. When asked about the cameo, Akshay responded, “No, absolutely not. It’s fake news.” Akshay was seen in a special appearance in Stree 2, joining Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, teasing a future collaboration with Dinesh Vijan’s expanding horror-comedy universe.
Talking about horror, Akshay Kumar on his birthday announced his next horror comedy titled Bhooth Bangla. The motion poster was released too. Taking to his Instagram handle, Akshay Kumar shared the poster and wrote, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!” The look features Akshay Kumar drinking milk while a black cat is sitting on his shoulder.
Not much is known about the new horror-comedy yet, but it’s expected to involve black magic, with Akshay working with three heroines. A report in Mid-Day suggested that a motion poster for the film might be released on Akshay’s birthday. The film is set to start shooting by the end of this year and continue into the first half of 2025.
Coming to the trailer, it is a mix of suspense, humour and a nostalgic twist, with Madhuri Dixit emerging as the surprise package. In a thrilling climax, she features alongside Vidya Balan, both of whom leave Rooh Baba utterly confused about who the real Manjulika is. Vidya Balan reprises her iconic role as the vengeful Manjulika from the first installment, and this time, she’s back with a vengeance, furious over being dethroned. Karthik Aryan once again steps into the shoes of the cheeky ghostbuster, Rooh Baba, whose funny antics and confident claims of being able to see spirits fuel the chaos. Triptii Dimri brings a fresh energy to the film, playing Rooh Baba’s love interest.
