Actor Shashank Ketkar has carved a niche for himself in the Marathi entertainment industry with his acting skills. And Shashank is one of those celebrities who does not shy away from voicing his opinion on social issues. Recently, Shashank exposed the situation of garbage around Goregaon Film City in Mumbai for all to see. Shashank Ketkar is currently working on the Star Pravah serial Morambaa.
The shooting of the serial is taking place in Film City, Goregaon. Shashank travels daily for shooting and he has shot this video from the car. In the video, a pile of garbage can be seen on the road and half of it is full of garbage. The road stinks because of the garbage. Shashank has directly questioned the civic body about this.
Shashanka wrote, “My Bharat is great. Be it Modiji, Rahulji or common people like me, this picture is not expected anywhere in India!!!!!”
“When people from India and all over the world come to Mumbai to watch @my_bmc filmcity, who would have thought that this is such a beautiful place to receive them???? In this condition, this picture is not of today…I have never seen this place so clean in the last 10 years,” he added.
He also shared, “Why so indifferent? Do you want to pick up all this garbage and dump it in front of the BMC office? ???? Tourists, artists and citizens living there, why is this dirty area being imposed on everyone?”
Besides raising awareness about such important issues, Shashank Ketkar also stays in the limelight for his show Morambaa. He also has a YouTube channel called Indeed Candid. Shashank shares glimpses from his personal life on this channel.
Shashank Ketkar’s biggest break came in 2013 with the Zee Marathi daily soap Honar Soon Mi Hya Gharchi, where his lead role as Shreerang Shree Gokhale made him popular. In 2013, Ketkar received the Best Actor and Best Couple awards at the Zee Marathi Awards.
