A True Man Puts His Family First: Actress Khusbu Sundar On Marriage

The separations of celebrity couples often shock their fans. The year 2024 has emerged as a bad year for film stars as many long-time couples and newlyweds walked out of their relationships and decided to call it quits. Recently, Tamil actor Jayam Ravi announced his separation from his wife Aarti Ravi after 15 years of marriage. In such a situation, Khushbu Sundar has expressed her strong opinions regarding marriage. In her latest post, the actress said that a true man puts his family above all else. Khushbu Sundar has not directly called out anyone for their failed marriages, but many assume that it is related to the recent breakups in the film industry. In the latest post, the actress highlighted the definition of a true man. According to her, a true man keeps his needs, whims, desires and freedoms second to the ones who love him unconditionally.

“In the journey of life, every marriage faces its ups and downs, and yes, mistakes happen. But these missteps never grant a man the right to abandon what he has built over the years,” wrote Khushbu Sundar in her post. She said that love can fade in the relationship sometimes, but respect for the woman should remain unshaken. She listed down the sacrifices and pains a woman bears for a man. She further calls the man selfish, who forgets to empathise and understand such things.

“A true man knows that to uplift himself, he must first uplift his family. The love might waver, but respect is the constant that binds hearts and souls together. Each day may not be perfect, but with respect, even the darkest days have a silver lining of hope and understanding,” wrote Khushbu Sundar.

She says that true strength lies in respecting family and it should start at home.

She has appeared in over 185 films and has won three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, two Cinema Express Awards, a Kalaimamani Award and a Kerala State Film Award.
