Fenugreek Paste
Mix 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seed powder and 1 tablespoon of triphala churna in a bowl of yoghurt. Apply the mixture as a mask for an hour the next morning. Keep it for an hour and then rinse it off with a mild shampoo. This hair care treatment is recommended once or twice a week for healthy hair.
Warm Oil Massage
Massaging your hair with hot oil is one of the best ways to treat dandruff during the winter season. Ayurvedic experts have recommended warm oil massage to keep the scalp and hair healthy and nourished during winter. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan. Mix coconut oil, sesame oil or both with a few drops of essential oils like tea tree or neem. Gently massage it on the scalp. This helps improve blood circulation in the scalp.
Herbal Hair Rinse
Boil herbs such as rosemary, thyme or sage in water for herbal hair rinse. Set the mixture aside and let it cool. After a few minutes, filter the mixture for herbal hair wash.
