Nita Mukesh Ambani celebrates Indian crafts and artisans through Manish Malhotra’s creative craftsmanship.

Nita Mukesh Ambani’s world is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship and artisans. Every ensemble she has adorned during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities has been an ode to India and its crafts.

Her undying love and support for Indian craftsmanship and artisans was highlighted through a series of photographs uploaded by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra on Instagram. Nita Mukesh Ambani embodied grace and royalty in the serene antique gold ensemble envisioned by Manish Malhotra.

The antique gold ensemble was inspired by the classic Hyderabadi kurta paired with the iconic khada dupatta (double drape). Elevating Indian heritage through his luminous luxurious pieces, Manish celebrated heritage textiles and embroideries and beautifully weaved them into this gold regal ensemble. The enchanting ensemble was enhanced with antique zari and timeless zardosi embroidery.

The highlight of this opulent and royal traditional design was the intricate silver gold chatai technique border crafted by specialised artisans. From the drape to the silhouette, every element in this bespoke design exudes grace, elegance and royalty.

Her captivating aura was gracefully captured through the magical lens of photographer Jatin Kampani. Nita Mukesh Ambani’s regal charm was enhanced with minimal yet flawless makeup done by celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor. Her cascading soft wavy hair was elegantly styled by celebrity hair stylist Ritika Kadam. Nita Mukesh Ambani adorned intricately designed chandbali earrings and a maang tika, which accentuated her ethereal style.

Manish Malhotra designs have been in the centre of all the Ambani celebrations and Nita Mukesh Ambani has always extended her appreciation for his extraordinary craftsmanship through statement pieces. One of the wedding festivities looks that stood out was the traditional ivory lehenga, adorned with multi-hued zardosi embroidery. Complemented by a woven Banarasi tissue dupatta with distinguished zari borders, and a traditional blouse inspired by Meenakari kundan jewellery.

Every classic ensemble designed by Manish Malhotra for Nita Mukesh Ambani has been an extension of her graceful and elegant personality.

We can’t wait to see what Nita Mukesh Ambani will adorn for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, which will take place from July 12 to July 14 in Mumbai.
