Tania Abrol, Maarteeni feels fashion is not only about clothes or blindly following trends, it has become more about re-writing a narrative of self-confidence and inclusivity.
There’s a growing recognition for diversity and inclusivity within the fashion industry. Representing people of all body types, ethnicities, genders, and abilities in advertising campaigns and product offerings.
“As a designer driven by innovation and the power of self-expression, I’m committed to pushing boundaries and championing diversity throughout my creative journey. I believe the future of fashion lies in seamlessly blending heritage with contemporary trends, creating a dynamic intersection where tradition meets innovation in next-generation fashion culture,” adds designer Smruti Mathisekaran, No Na mé.
Minawala believes fashion brands are increasingly collaborating with other industries, artists, and consumers to create unique and innovative products. Co-creation initiatives invite customers to participate in the design process, fostering a sense of ownership and community.

Social media platforms have become powerful tools for driving fashion trends and shaping consumer preferences. Influencers and content creators play a significant role in promoting sustainable and inclusive fashion practices, as well as challenging traditional beauty standards.
Technology is playing an increasingly important role in fashion. “Advancements such as 3D printing, CGI experience videos for advertising, virtual reality (VR) fashion shows, and augmented reality (AR) try-on experiences are revolutionizing the fashion industry,” signs off Minawala.
