The New Jersey Festival of Ballooning was held from July 24 to July 26. In what was the 33rd edition of the festival, the New Jersey sky was adorned with hot air balloons of all shapes, colours and sizes.
For those who were lucky enough to witness the awe-inspiring phenomenon, saw hundreds of hot air balloons floating above their heads against the cloudless sky. The offical website of the festival read,"We have searched land and sea for our new 2015 shapes", and rightly so! The festival showcased balloons ranging from the one modelled after the Star Wars villain Darth Vader to the one which was in shape of a sea horse. A balloon shaped like a baby dinosaur too got a lot of attention.
Hundreds of balloons took off from the Solberg airport on July 25 and took over the otherwise blue sky with bright beautiful colours. Attended by people from all walks of life, the festival was highly successful and lived up to its motto of 'Love at First Flight.'
