An order issued by the Personnel Ministry directed the HoDs to ensure that 50% of Group B and C employees are required to attend office every day and the remaining 50% staff is instructed to work from home.

The collector’s order specifically followed complaints from IT professionals, who claimed that their respective managements forced them to work from their offices. These grievances were conveyed to the district administration.
