HYDERABAD: In separate incidents, a woman and a man were done to death by their sons at Bahadurpura and Bollarum. In the first case, a 52-yearold woman, Tahera Begum, was killed by her son at Asad Baba Nagar under Bahadurpura police limits on Saturday night.Though the accused tried to give an impression that his mother was killed and that he was injured during an attack by unidentified persons, police later found that the youngster was the actual killer of the woman. The accused, 32-year-old Aleem, killed his mother as she refused to convince his estranged wife to return home and live with him. Aleem's wife left him a few days back unable to bear his harassment and constant beating.Aleem and his mother were residing in a rented house. On Saturday night, Aleem reportedly came home in a drunken state and picked up an argument with his mother about bringing back his wife. Suddenly, he came out running from the house and raised an alarm that unidentified persons broke into the house and attacked him and his mother.Aleem had injuries on his body. The duo were shifted to the Osmania hospital where Tahera died while Aleem is recovering. Aleem's sister, Haleema Begum, suspected her brother and lodged a complaint with the police who found that Aleem killed his mother and inflicted injuries on himself. "Aleem used to inflict injuries on himself whenever he had a quarrel with his mother and sister over his wife deserting him,'' police said, adding that Begum might had been hit by a blunt weapon leading to death.Police said Aleem would be questioned after he recovered completely. His body also bore injuries that he inflicted on himself previously. Meanwhile, Krishna (55), of Adarsh Nagar, was killed by his son at Bollarum. Police said Krishna used to come home in an inebriated condition and harass his son over trivial issues. Unable to bear the harassment, the accused, L Ramchander alias Chanti, attacked his father two days back. Krishna suffered severe injuries and was shifted to a hospital where he died on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
