Voters need a change

SHIMOGA: The BJP will emerge victorious in the Bellary bypoll as voters in the constituency desperately need a change, said BJP state president K S Eshwarappa.Addressing reporters here on Tuesday, he said that the voters are supporting a BJP candidate that is free off the Reddy clan who have brought development to a halt in the constituency. "We made a mistake by handing over the party responsibility to the Reddy brothers and Sriramulu when Sushma Swaraj visited Bellary while contesting against Sonia Gandhi. Now we have come out of that vicious circle," he added. He, however, refused to comment on the JD(S)' support to independent candidate B Sriramulu.Eshwarappa added that the doors of the BJP will remain closed to the leaders of other parties on a permanent basis.
