New York: A video allegedly showing actress Lindsay Lohan stealing a necklace from a jewellery shop will hit the internet.
Jewellery store Kamofie & Co., based in Venice, California, will be releasing a surveillance video through a company called The Spencer Co. of Beverly Hills on their website.
"Speculation as to what occurred that day has been the subject of intense rumour in the media and elsewhere," people.com quoted a statement on the company's website.
"Many individuals want to be able to see the video streams from the jewellery store's surveillance cameras, and we have obtained the exclusive license for them. The tapes speak for themselves," added the statement.
Stills from the video showing Lohan walking around the store and trying on jewellery were posted by Entertainment Tonight.
