VHP denies Hindu outfit hand

MANGALORE: The ongoing investigation into the vandalism at St Alphonsa Catholic Church should be handed over to CID, said VHP district vice-president Jagadish Shenava on Saturday. He clarified that no Hindu organisation was involved in the church attack as highlighted in sections of the media. He quoted the media to point out that the vandal, Shibu, was not a Hindu and his family had converted to Christianity 20 years ago. “Then why he would go on a rampage inside the church?” he asked.
