KOCHI: CM Oommen Chandy on Saturday made it clear that the UDF would field its own candidate in the Neyyattinkara Assembly seat, which fell vacant following CPM MLA R Selvaraj’s resignation.Addressing newsmen at Piravom, he reiterated that Selvaraj had already announced that he would not be coming to the UDF. The CM said the Congress or the UDF did not want to remain in power by any political machination.
