HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists began Telangana Sadhana Yatra in all T districts on Wednesday. The padayatra will conclude with public meetings in all T districts on November 21.TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao will address a public meeting at Ramagundam in Karimnagar district during the 150 km yatra. Speaking on the occasion, TRS leaders lashed out at the Congress-led UPA Government for dilly dallying the T issue. They also demanded that the Telugu Desam should made its stand on the Telangana issue clear. The TRS took out the yatra with an aim to further strengthen its base at grassroots in Telangana districts. About 100 TRS leaders and activists will take part in the yatra in every Telangana district. In every district, at least five Assembly constituencies will be covered as part of the padayatra.Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) and other Telangana organisations have extended their support to the TRS in organising T Sadhana Yatra.As part of the yatra, the TRS will also study prevailing drought conditions in mandals. It will highlight the ‘failure’ of the Congress government to come to the rescue of drought-hit farmers.TJAC chairman M Kodandaram flagged off the yatra at Karunapur village in Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency in Warangal district. He said Congress and TDP MLAs, MPs and MLCs should again submit their resignations to their posts in the ensuing sessions of Parliament and Assembly to mount pressure on the UPA Government to deliver T.In Medak district, mild tension prevailed at Ismailkhanpet village when Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy’s supporters obstructed the TRS activists while they are undertaking T Sadhana Yatra. The police resorted to lathi-charge to bring the situation under control. The yatra which began from Sangareddy, will conclude with a public meeting at Rangadhampalli village near Siddipet on November 21. In Karimnagar, the yatra will cover seven Assembly constituencies
