HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has decided to make TJAC’s protest programmes a grand success.It wanted all the elected representatives of Congress and the TDP to abide by TJAC’s fresh deadline and join the T movement after June 25. The party also called upon its cadre to get ready for ‘Vanta Varpu’ programme in Hyderabad on June 19.TRS discussed the present political situation and opined that this was right to time to build pressure on the UPA government on Telangana.The party also directed its party cadre to intensify agitation and corner Congress and TDP leaders.TRS state executive met here on Friday presided by its party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. TRS MP Vijayashanti, several party MLAs and all the executive members attended the meeting.The meeting approved the action programme of the TJAC announced recently.Disclosing the party resolutions to the media, TRS Legislature party leader E Rajendar said the Central government would soon face the heat of Telangana. He found fault with the Congress’ strategy of giving deputy posts to Telangana people.This was nothing but diluting the T-movement, he added. “Congress is implementing a foolish strategy on Telangana,” he observed.Meanwhile TRS MLA Koppula Eswar demanded Damodar Rajanarsimha should quit deputy chief minister’s post if he wants Telangana.
