Tissue Culture course

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Applications have been invited for the tissue culture technician course conducted by the Biotechnology and Model Floriculture Laboratory at Kazhakkoottam. The course is designed to give intensive practical training in the field of tissue culture, nursery management and cultivation of ornamental plants.Application forms will be available from the office from 10 am to 4 pm on all working days from October 24. The last date for receipt of filled application forms is November 8.Only ten students will be admitted in one batch and the course fees is Rs 3,500 for the entire course. Those who successfully complete the course will be given apprenticeship training for three months with a stipend of Rs 1,500 per month.For more details, contact the assistant director of agriculture at the centre.
