He is repeatedly taken into custody by police from different parts of the state and in the name of the interrogation; he is not even allowed to have proper sleep. His health is fast deteriorating,” said Leema Rose. The daughter of the Martins, Daisy Martin, a final year student in a private college, said that some persons took us to Chennai in a car and told that all the cases against my father would be withdrawn if they pay a huge sum. “When we refused, they threatened us that more cases will be filed against my father and will never come out of the prison. They threatened that my father will be murdered in the prison itself,” said Daisy. Leema said she would reveal the names of persons who were trying to extort money from them if Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa granted an audience to her.
