Thiruvabharanapatha Samithi on warpath

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala Thiruvabharanapatha Samrakshana Samithi has threatened to launch an agitation against the delay by the revenue authorities in evicting the encroachers on the Thiruvabharanam procession route in Ranni taluk. The Samithi, which held a meeting in Ranni on Saturday, expressed deep anguish over the failure of the authorities in evicting the encroachers after the Survey Department authorities earmarked the encroached locations. The Samithi with the support of the Ayyappa devotees, including the pilgrims of other southern states, would launch an agitation if the revenue authorities fail to evict the encroachers in the next 100 days. Samithi chairman K Haridas presided over the meting. Narayanan Nampoothiri inaugurated the meeting. Prasad Kuzhikala, Malethu Saraladevi, Anilkumar and V K Rajagopal spoke.
