New Delhi: Extending its smartphone portfolio, Lava has announced the launch of its new flagship smartphone - Lava Iris 504q. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, and includes gesture controls.

The gesture motion feature allows users to interact with the phone just by waving your hand in air. It can be used for clicking photos, changing tracks, tuning FM channels and browsing gallery on the smartphone. I got my hands on the device and found the gesture motion feature to be working pretty well.

Priced at Rs 13,499, the Lava Iris 504q is 8.4mm thick and rests comfortably in your hand. Running Android 4.2 OS, the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has USB OTG support.
