THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the objective of availing easier ISO Certification for incubated companies from Technopark, Technopark-TBI and TUV India Pvt Ltd have signed an MoU to provide ISO 9001:2008 certifications on a cluster basis.The agreement to this effect was signed and exchanged between K G Girish Babu, chairman, T-TBI and Venkatesh Prasad, branch manager - Coimbatore, TUV India, on Tuesday.Companies incubated from Technopark and also those which graduated to the ‘Smart Business Centre’ are eligible for this certification process. TUV India would be the Certification Body for Technopark-TBI incubated companies. The certification process would be conducted as per the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Standards.TUV India Pvt Ltd is a leading certification body and provides diverse services in management systems - quality, environment, safety, food, information technology and social accountability, training in allied areas of lead auditor, internal auditor & awareness courses, third party inspection, CDM & other carbon and energy services, laboratory testing (analytical) services, PED/ASME certification, product certification (CE, GS marking), automotive momologation, six sigma, CMMI etc.“ISO Certified companies are highly valued in the IT industry. The MoU is very strategic and rewarding for all the Technopark incubated companies,” said Girish Babu.
