Bangalore: The Indian cricket team arrived in Bangalore on Thursday for the second One-Day International match against South Africa on Saturday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The team lost to the Proteas by five wickets in the opening match on Wednesday.
The day-night encounter is set to attract a full-house as there has been unprecedented clamoring for tickets, which were sold out on Monday itself, within a few hours of the opening of the counters.
The frenzy is fuelled by India's thumping 6-1 victory over the Sri Lankans in the recent one-day series.
Skipper Rahul Dravid would be playing his first international match as a captain in front of his home-crowd.
What has added to the interest is the visiting team's 20-match unbeaten streak. A win in Bangalore for the number two team in the ICC ODI rankings would enable the tourists to equal Australia's world record of 21 ODI win on the trot.
