PERUMBAVOOR: The police on Friday released a sketch of the third accused in the case where Reghu of Palakkad was beaten to death in a KSRTC bus from Thrissur to Palakkad on October 10 evening. Reghu was beaten up after accusing him of pick-pocketing.The sketch of the third accused was released by DySP Harikrishnan.According to police, the accused is around 40 years. He has medium complexion and is about 5 feet tall. He is fat and healthy and was wearing white dhothi and white shirt.The police have urged the public to inform the nearest police station or Perumbavoor DySP (9497990078) if they have or receive any information.Reghu was given a brutal thrashing by Santhosh, whose money was alleged to be stolen, and Satheesan, gunman of K Sudhakaran, MP, and the unidentified person when he got on the bus from Perumabavoor station.The first two were arrested.It was the eye-witnesses who later informed the police that there was one more person behing the attack. But, his identity was still not known to anybody. So far, police attempts to trace him have been futile.Based on information from the eyewitnesses, the police have been able to construct a sketch of the unknown assailant.
