The court asked the petitioners to execute a bond of `25,000 each and present two solvent sureties for the like amount.Meanwhile, the state government vehemently opposed the bail applications of the accused  and stated that the owner was involved in similar incidents. Several persons were affected by food poisoning, which led to the death of Sachin Roy on July 10.The police had registered a case of administering poison with the intention to cause hurt under Section 328 of the Indian Penal Code against the owner and the employees.The state is waiting for the chemical analysis report from FSL Banagalore and the report of the Food Safety Commissioner. The Kerala High Court on Thursday granted bail to four accused in the ‘Shawarma death’ case in which Sachin Roy Mathew, a student from Bangalore, died after consuming shawarma from Salwa Cafe in Thiruvananthapuram.

Justice P Bhavadasan granted bail to the owner of the hotel Abdul Khadar and three employees, Jaleel, Raj Kumar and Jenthu Sett of West Bangal.

The accused have been under judicial custody since July 18. The court asked the petitioners to execute a bond of `25,000 each and present two solvent sureties for the like amount.

Meanwhile, the state government vehemently opposed the bail applications of the accused  and stated that the owner was involved in similar incidents. Several persons were affected by food poisoning, which led to the death of Sachin Roy on July 10.
