KOTHAMANGALAM: It seems our law-enforcing officers are groping in the dark regarding the investigation into the Kothamangalam sex scandal in which a minor was sexually harassed by several persons.
The police have so far taken five of the accused, including the victim's father and a minor boy, into custody. Three cars have also been seized in connection with the case. The girl, a high school student, was sexually harassed in vehicles like cars and autorickshaws.The girl had earlier told the police that she was subjected to sexual harassment
for three months.
confessed to the investigating officers that she had been sexually harassed for
nearly 18 months by several
persons.
Meanwhile, two students of an engineering college were questioned in this connection.But the girl denied any relation with them. The police had raidedthe houses and possible
hideouts of those at large in
connection with the case.
