Samsung Galaxy Note III launch event confirmed for September 4
Speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note III will feature a 5.7-inch display, Qualcomm 800 CPU, and a 13MP camera

New Delhi: While we have been hearing for quite sometime now that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note III at its Mobile Unpacked event on September 4, the company has now confirmed the same. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note III launch event, which is scheduled for September 4 in Berlin, by sending a tweet from its Samsung Mobile Twitter handle.

The tweet says, "Samsung #UNPACKED 2013 Episode 2. Note the date." The tweet also has a picture which clearly mentions the date, time and place of the event.

Though Samsung has not specifically named the Galaxy Note III in the tweet, but the word "Note" highlighted in the image clearly suggests that it's the next-generation Galaxy Note making its debut on September 4 and in all likelihood it will be called the Galaxy Note III.

The event will take place two days before the IFA trade show in Berlin begins. The Samsung Galaxy Note III is rumoured to come in two variants - one with LCD display and another with OLED display.

Speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note III will feature a 5.7-inch display, Qualcomm 800 CPU and include LTE-A support. The phone is expected to sport a 13 megapixel camera and come with 2GB RAM.

The company will live stream the event on its Samsung Mobile YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/samsungmobile).
