A bag carrying Rs 8.73 lakh in cash and important documents was on Tuesday looted by some unidentified robbers from an auto-parts shop in Kalwar area near Jaipur, police said.
The incident occurred when shop owner Ramkumar Choudhary went to a nearby water tap for cleaning the glass and when he returned to the shop, his almira was opened and the bag was missing, they said.
However, the owner did not divulge whether he saw any person near his shop when he went out for cleaning the glass, they said, quoting his FIR. A probe was on into the matter, they said.
