Rajasthan: School teacher arrested for sexually assaulting 4 children

Bikaner: A government school teacher was arrested on Saturday for sexually assaulting and exploiting four school children in Gajner in Bikaner.

Sanjay Sharma (40), posted with government secondary school in Gajner, was arrested after villagers complained that he sexually exploited some boys, who aged between 7 to 8 years.

"The accused used to take the boys to a pond near the school, where they were sodomised by him. It was going on for the last few months and came to light only when a boy complained about it to his parents," police said.

A case has been registered against the teacher under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
