New Delhi: Samir Karnik seems to be one of the fastest filmmakers of the Hindi film industry. He had started with 'Kyun Ho Gaya Na' and has directed five films since 2004. It's a good pace by any standard. However he had to wait for more than seven years to taste the success at the box office. The collaboration with the Deol family on 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' gave Karnik the hit he was looking for. Probably the success of 'YPD' prompted Samir to extend the story and make another film.

The first look of 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni' gives a clear indication of what to expect from the film. In fact, the hero of the film Tusshar Kapoor admitted in an exclusive interview given to IBNLive that 'CDKC' will carry forward the story of 'YPD'," I signed the film because narration was really good. It's for class and mass both. You can say its 'YPD Part 2' but with a different story. The flavour is same with added attraction of Rajasthan. Basic premise is same but the story line is new."

The film is set against the backdrop of the colourful state of Rajasthan where a Rajput boy falls in love with a Punjabi girl. The comedy starts when both the sides start to claim that they are the real 'Singhs'.

One of the major reasons behind the success of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' was its lead star cast and the rustic Punjabi feel. The promos promise the audiences a wholesome entertainment. Tusshar Kapoor has proved his worth in comic roles in the past and Kulraj Randhawa had also done a good job in 'YPD' so there is no harm in expecting another fun film from them.

The songs are as per the current trends but they have failed to catch the audiences' attention. The film is all set to hit the screens on March 8 on the eve of Holi.####
