President Patil's husband takes ill

Nagpur: Devi Singh Shekhawat, husband of President Pratibha Patil was admitted to a private nursing home here on Tuesday following mild fever, Hospital sources said.

"Shekhawat is alright and there is nothing to worry about his health," Director of the Hospital, Dr Murli Rao said.

Former MP Banwarilal Purohit, Divisional Commissioner of Nagpur Gopala Reddy and Commissioner of Police Ankush Dhanvijay visited him in the hospital. The security around the hospital has been tightened.
