BANGALORE: State Bank of India organised Pensioners’ Meet at St Mark’s Road on July 18, for redressal of grievances of pensioners residing in Bangalore Metro area. Nearly 350 pensioners who are drawing pension from various branches located in Bangalore Metro attended the meet.S K Mishra, chief general manager, Government Banking Unit, Corporate Centre, New Delhi graced the occasion and redressed the complaints / suggestions received from the pensioners. He also explained in detail the various technology platforms available in SBI for redressal of customer complaints for pensioners i.e., Toll Free Contact Centre and SMS Unhappy. He stressed on the need of timely submission of Life certificates by the pensioners. L N  Vaidyanath, Retd Director of Geological Survey of India, was the chief guest and was honoured on the occasion. Vaidyanath narrated his journey of enjoyable banking experiences with SBI since five decades.The pensioners were also shown an audio-visual presentation on SBI products in deposits, loans and advances, Green Channel counters, SBI Transit Card (Metro Rail) and also financial planning. The pensioners participated actively in an interactive “Q & A” session thereafter.The meet was held simultaneously in seven other centres in Karnataka as part of All-India Rollout.
