New Delhi: A report based on the findings of Pakistani intelligence suggests that Osama Bin Laden may be dying.

Osama bin Laden may only have six to eighteen months to live says a CIA report.

CIA sources basing their analysis on intelligence about his intake of medicines claimed he would probably die of kidney failure.

They were quoted by US media as saying that bin Laden had undergone treatment in the urology department of Rawalpindi Military Hospital a day before the 9/11 attacks.

Among other ailments, Osama is said to suffer from a few others. He may have an enlarged heart, low blood pressure and a back problem.

There were also reports he had donated two dialysis machines to the Taliban, one of which was for his personal use.

However, the intelligence experts say that Pakistani intelligence sources are unreliable, which often lands the CIA into trouble.

“Lately, the opinion at the highest level in US administration is that Pakistanis are taking everybody for a ride,” says AK Verma.

A CIA spokesman later clarified that the report did not represent the CIA's views. Every time rumours about Bin Laden's death gained currency, a message from Osama would appear.

Probably he wants to ensure he doesn't lose influence over al-Qaeda as well as other Islamic radicals.

The last message by Osama was an audio recording in March where he lashed out against the Danish caricatures of Prophet Mohammad and appeared to hint at an Al-Qaida strike in Europe.
