BANGALORE: The Lokayukta Special Court has reserved its orders on the bail petition of former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu and posted further hearing of the case to October 17.Katta, who has been named accused in the multicrore KIADB land scam, is under judicial custody and has been admitted to Victoria Hospital for medical treatment.His medical report mentioned that previous records of the accused provided were incomplete and there was no clinical evidence of recurrence of cancer.The report stated that Naidu needed a biopsy of lymph nodes and chemotherapy.Judge N K Sudheendra Rao went through the report and enquired Naidu’s advocate about his health, when he replied that he was suffering from pain in his neck and abdomen.The judge questioned the need for treatment at Lilavathi Hospital in Mumbai, and added that he would take him there with police escort only in an emergent situation.
