Nursing student commits suicide

ONGOLE: A nursing college student, Savidi Rajeswari (18) of Garapenta village in Pullalacheruvu mandal in Prakasam district, committed suicide by hanging herself at her college at Markapuram on Monday.The girl got admission just ten days ago and was staying in the college hostel.As the girl belonged to a Scheduled Caste, she was asked to produce the caste certificate which she failed to bring along with her.With her father failing to turn up at the college on Sunday along with the certificates, she resorted to the extreme step, as her admission got delayed.Her classmates found Rajeswari hanging from the ceiling of a shed near their hostel room on Monday morning.
