BANGALORE: Going a step ahead, the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) will soon come up with an exclusive centre of well being in the city.Giving priority to reduce the increasing number of mental disorders, the centre aims to offer wide array of services.“Besides providing treatment for mental disorders, the main emphasis is on the preventive and positive mental health promotion for all the age group.People suffering from any psychological disorders can now seek expert consultancy at the new centre”, said, Dr Satish Chandra, director, NIMHANS.The department of clinical psychology, neurophysiology, de-addition, psychiatric social work and psychiatry department will be playing major role in the centre.Located at BTM layout at NIMHANS building, the centre will be inaugurated by CM D V Sadannanda Gowda and Medical Education Minister S A Ramdas on October 10.Out patient service will be open week between 9 am and 4 pm for the patients.
