NIT Patna has announced that the admission will be done on August 16 and 17. The classes will begin from August 19. The dean of the institute said that the students will have to take an anti-ragging oath. The students will have to bring all the necessary documents.
Gaya: MU degree now available from branch office
Magadh University students can now get their UG degrees from MU branch office near College of Commerce in Patna instead of the university’s headquarters at Gaya. This decision was taken by the acting Vice Chancellor of MU at a review meeting. About 8 lakh UG degrees of MU from 2001 to 2008 have been prepared and are in the process of signing by the VC before issuance.
Patna: Lions Club organises “Sawan Milan”
Members of Lions Club of Patna Femina organised a “Sawan Milan” function on Saturday. Various competitions were held during the function. The participants were questioned on women’s empowerment and general knowledge. The party was ended with an energetic performance by the DJ.
Patna: MIECT awards scholarships for children from financially weak families
The Muslim India Educational and Cultural Trust (MIECT) has awarded scholarships to 22 children belonging from financially weaker families. A total of 51 scholarships have been awarded to children from different states. The MIECT has also invited applications from Muslim students without adequate means for 70 scholarships on a merit-cum-means basis.
