KOCHI: The Excise Department has rescheduled the working time of bar hotels. As per the notification issued on Wednesday, bar hotels in the Corporation limit can function each day from 9 am till midnight, while those in municipalities and panchayaths can remain opened from 8 am to 11 pm. As per the modified Abkari Indian Made Foreign Liquor policy, a person can keep 1.5 litre of liquor with him. The quantity of foreign liquor that one can keep in custody is - IMFL 3 litre (brandy, rum, whiskey, gin, vodka), wine and beer (3.5 litre each), Foreign Made Foreign liquor-2.4 litre and cocoa brandy- 1 litre.
