Nehru seek anticipatory bail

MADURAI:  Former DMK minister K N Nehru and Tiruchy Deputy Mayor Anbhazhagan have filed anticipatory bail applications before the Madras High Court Bench here apprehending arrest in connection with a hotel grab case in Tiruchy.
The petitions were filed as cases had been registered against them under Section 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 477 (falsification of accounts) of the Indian Penal Code.According to petitioner Nehru, the police had registered a complaint against Dr Kathirvel of Namakkal for allegedly entering the Kanchana Hotel along with rowdies and attacking the staff, besides taking away the documents and ledger.
